Cici was born Carla Thais Andersen on August 5, 1985 in Buenos Aires Argentina.
She started her career at the age of 17 when she attended Graham Webb International Academy in Rosslyn, VA and graduated the one year program 6 months early. She continued her education at the Llonguerras Academy in Barcelona, Spain, where she completed the Masters of Hairdressing program in 2006. Returning to her home in Washington D.C., she honed her skills in various prestigious salons until 2008.
In 2008, Cici moved to Los Angeles, where she attended Special Effects makeup school at The Makeup Designory in Burbank. After graduation, she started apprenticing at Makeup & Monsters Inc., a creature shop in Chatsworth, CA under Brian Penikas. After the apprenticeship, Makeup & Monsters hired her on staff.
Now that Cici has established herself in the film and television world, she’s just as comfortable creating gruesome creature effects as she is getting the hottest young Hollywood stars picture-perfect for the Red Carpet.
