Cici Andersen

Makeup & Monsters was asked to restore a couple dozen screen-used Gremlins from The Gremlins:2 motion picture. These puppets are over 20 years old. The foam had started to deteriorate along with the the mechanics used to move the puppets (called Animatronics). This Spider Mohawk Gremlin was among the puppets given to me to restore and preserve for future generation Gremlins lovers. (work in progress...stay tuned.)

This 8.5ft Foam-contructed Stilt Monster was made for a Japanese Theme Park in the summer 2009 by me and the crew of Makeup & Monsters Inc.

Lenny was among the puppets given to me to restore and preserve for future generation Gremlins lovers. He's my pride and joy!

Prosthetic appliances for "the Beast" sculpted, and painted by myself and Caitlyn Brisbin. Horns made by me. Character makeup applications by Cici and Caitlyn. All wigs styled by Cici.

This 10 ft. tall, 50 ft. branch-span fiberglass tree was made for Nu Sanctuary Lounge, Las Vegas by me and the Makeup & Monsters crew. This tree has translucency in some areas to allow brilliant colored light changes to shine through from the tips of the branches all the way to the "roots"; for which we made channels in the floor and covered with resin.
